SCAD Graduate Fashion Designer - Mengjie Di

Savannah College of Art and Design-Savannah Alumna, Mengjie Di, exemplifies mastery skills in all aspects of design. Mengjie is a fine example of the quality and level SCAD expects from their students. Since, graduation Mengjie is now designing full-time in Atlanta.

Arnold Scaasi Closing Made-to-Order Business after 55 years



Arnold Scaasi, famous dress designer often described as "New York's last great couturier" has decided to close his custom dress business after 55 years to focus on his costume jewelry line, which is sold on HSN.  In addition to selling his costume jewelry line, there is also talk of another book being written about him, following his 1996 autobiography, "A Cut Above the Rest" and a 2004 memoir titled "Women I Have Dressed (and Undressed).

Simple, but Chic


As I was searching for new fashion trends, I was amazed to find these simple, but chic ensembles pictured above.  What I love the most about these pieces is you do not have to spend all of your money to look good.  You can take old garments and mix them with your new garments and still have a timeless look.  What do you think of these looks?
